Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. seeks an Offshore Crane Field Service Technician to serve as a Gulf Crane Services representative and perform on-site inspection, troubleshooting and repair of offshore cranes and hydraulic systems.

You will overhaul winches, valves and hydraulic components, perform diesel engine maintenance and carry out preventative maintenance programs, while maintaining tools and ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, hydraulic and diesel experience required.
• Braden Winch Training completed.
• Knowledge of crane rigging procedures.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with API 2C, API RP 2D and API 9A specifications.
• Must own hand tools and basic MS Word/Excel ability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair offshore cranes and winches.
• Inspect hydraulic open loop systems and repair components.
• Overhaul valves, hydraulic components and related gear.
• Perform basic diesel engine troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Execute preventative maintenance on offshore cranes.
• Maintain tools and equipment and complete paperwork timely.

Job description

Purpose:

Performcrane field service, and act as Gulf Crane Services Representative for theCrane Product line.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect,troubleshoot and repair Ball Ring and King Post Mounted Offshore Marine Cranes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair cranes-Hydraulic Open Loop Systems.
• Ability tocompletely overhaul winches, valves and hydraulic components.
• Perform basictroubleshooting and maintenance required on diesel engines.
• Carry outpreventative maintenance program for offshore cranes.
• Observe competitiveactivities.
• Contribute to Gulf Crane Services image and reputation.
• Manage andmaintain assigned tools and equipment.
• Complete all paperwork thoroughly and ina timely fashion.
• Know and understand Gulf Crane Services Quality Policy andcomply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Perform all other duties as required bySupervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Skills:
