Job summary

SPIE Turbomachinery procura um Engenheiro Mecânico sênior para atuar em operações offshore, com foco na manutenção de equipamentos críticos (redutores, compressores, bombas, geradores, caldeiras, etc.). O candidato deve ter diploma em Engenharia Mecânica, mais de 15 anos de experiência na manutenção de instalações de óleo e gás, bem como experiência SAP/R3 e liderança comprovada.

• +15 anos de experiência na manutenção de instalações de óleo e gás.
• Experiência com SAP/R3.
• Conhecimento de CMMS para gestão de intervenções.
• Inglês fluente; francês e/ou português desejáveis.

Responsibilities

• Organizar operações de manutenção mecânica on site.
• Prestar suporte técnico ao planejamento das atividades na sua disciplina.
• Auxiliar especialistas em contratos de manutenção específicos (SMC).
• Assegurar conformidade com as regras HSE, permissões de trabalho e procedimentos operacionais.
• Gerenciar intervenções usando CMMS e elaborar relatórios técnicos.
• Promover transferência de conhecimento via mentoria dentro das equipes.
• Gerenciar manutenção de todo o parque de equipamentos mecânicos listados.
• Diagnosticar e reparar falhas em sistemas mecânicos e equipamentos associados.
• Efetuar leitura de desenhos, esquemas e listas de componentes.
• Assegurar o cumprimento de PM/CM e integridade de ativos.

Job description

• Organizes the mechanical maintenance operations on site,
• Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
• Assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
• Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
• Manages interventions using the CMMS and checks intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field,
• Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in this himself,
• Manage the maintenance all mechanical equipment (Gearboxes, Pumps, Compressors, Gas compressor, Cranes, Accumulators, heat exchangers, Fans, Lifeboats, Liferaft, Diesel generators SDG/EDG, Firefighting package, Strainers & filters).
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in mechanical systems, Air compressors, Gas lift compressor, Water injection systems, Cranes, pumps, etc.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Asset Care routine to ensure PM/CM close-out and Integrity of Asset maintained.

Methods

• Provide support in repair, installation, and commissioning
• Analyses indicators provided by the CMMS, stock management and intervention reports with a view to improving maintenance in his area (HSE, availability, preservation of equipment, optimization of costs),
• Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyzes them and suggests improvements,
• Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs and, if need be, suggests improvements,
• Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
• Suggests improvements and requests modifications.

Quality Assurance

• In addition to audits and reviews as above mentioned he participates in periodic meetings with GMC and SMC to ensure proper surveillance.
• Also, designs, follows-up and optimizes maintenance concepts in close cooperation with the GMCs and SMCs.

Perfil

The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• +15 years’ experience minimum in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations
• Good knowledge of Gearboxes, Gas compressor, Cranes, Accumulators, heat exchangers, Fans, Lifeboats, Liferaft, Diesel generators SDG/EDG, Firefighting package, Strainers & filters, Pumps (Centrifugal, Diaphragm, Piston, Gear, Peristaltic, Dosing, Lubrication pumps), Compressors (Piston, Scroll, Screw, Centrifugal, Vane compressors)
• SAP/R3 experience and know-how
• Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
• Fluent in English, knowledge of French & Portuguese language recommended
• Strong leadership, reliability and work confidentiality.
