Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Blaster/Painters at Entry Level, Intermediate, and Journeyman levels to join our offshore Gulf of Mexico team. You will prepare surfaces, apply protective coatings, and inspect work to ensure safety and quality across assignments.

Travel is required with a 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation. Prior blasting/painting experience is preferred and related certifications are a plus. Equal opportunity employer and safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous blasting and painting experience preferred (requirements vary by level).
• Ability to work in industrial environments and varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Willingness to travel and work a rotational schedule of 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation activities.
• Apply industrial coatings and paint systems to specified standards.
• Inspect surfaces before, during, and after coating application.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and client requirements.
• Maintain equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organized.
• Complete required documentation and reporting accurately.
