Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking motivated Blaster/Painters at the Entry Level, Intermediate, and Journeyman levels to join our team in the United States. You will prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings following client and industry standards, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include blasting and surface preparation, coating application, surface inspection, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous blasting and painting experience preferred (requirements vary by level).
• Ability to work in industrial environments and varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Willingness to travel and work a rotational schedule of 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation activities.
• Apply industrial coatings and paint systems to specified standards.
• Inspect surfaces before, during, and after coating application.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and client requirements.
• Maintain equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organized.
• Complete required documentation and reporting accurately.
