Job summary

DSV is hiring an Operations Manager for the Canal Winchester facility, offshift Tue-Sat 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM. You will plan, schedule, coordinate, and measure all warehouse operations, develop standard operating processes, and ensure customer satisfaction with reliable service.

You will oversee safety programs, develop performance metrics, manage staff training, and handle P&L. A bachelor’s degree and 3–7 years of supervisory experience are expected.

Qualifications

• This is a management position with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent requirement.
• Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Generally prefer 3–7 years of related supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain warehouse operational infrastructure.
• Price all new business associated within facility.
• Develop and maintain ISO level operation guidelines and metrics.
• Develop and monitor productivity standards.
• Develop and maintain efficient, cost effective operations layout.
• Establish and maintain daily operating schedules.
• Coordinate daily cycle counts.
• P&L responsibility for the operation.
• Develop and maintain an internal training center within operation.
• Present facility operations to prospective customers.
• Ensure a safe working environment and PPE compliance.
• Provide customer service to prevent and resolve errors.
• Select and place staff, train, and define job assignments; manage productivity.
