Job summary

DSV is seeking a Lead Inventory Associate for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) in Canal Winchester, OH. The role involves loading/unloading freight, inventory control, rotation and inspection, and serving as the lead liaison between the Warehouse Manager and staff in the assigned area.

Responsibilities include directing warehouse staff, coordinating tasks with the Supervisor, and maintaining safety and quality standards across dock operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Generally prefer 4–6 years of experience.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Able to operate a variety of equipment such as a forklift and a computer.
• Strong organizational, inventory, and accounting skills.
• Physical requirements include pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE).
• Load and unload inbound and outbound containers and sort freight by size and destination.
• Read and decipher freight coding to expedite movement and tracing.
• Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
• Maintain safe, clean dock area and report damaged shipments.
• Coordinate workload needs with Warehouse Supervisor and delegate tasks.
