The company is seeking a skilled press operator to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset presses, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production processes. Ongoing maintenance and color corrections are part of the role, along with strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications to determine needed press setup materials.
• Knowledge of press capabilities and corrective adjustments for efficient runs.
• Understanding packing pressure for proper printing pressure.
• Skill in mounting and aligning printing plates using a micrometer.
• Experience with routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Ability to adjust feeder and feed board components.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset press.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates or installing cylinders and imaging checks.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; perform minor repairs as required.
• Perform periodic maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
