Castle Pierce Corporation in Oshkosh, WI is seeking an Offset Press Assistant for day and night shifts. You will feed the press, monitor ink and print quality, and help set up the feeder while aiming for speed to market.

• Mechanical aptitude for operating and adjusting offset press equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain efficiency during runs.

Responsibilities

• Check the job ticket for the type and quantity of stock to be used.
• Load Stock this should be completed before previous run is completed.
• Obtain any specialty inks
• Set up feeder, including double sheet detector, and side guide.
• Remove old plates and hang new ones.
• Make sure sheet is guiding, check for bounce and verify image position on sheet.
• Check coating blanket is cut and covering the correct area.
• Preload stock, monitor ink fountains, monitor fountain solution in chiller tanks.

Job Title: Offset Press Assistant- Day and Night Shift

position overview

Do you have strong mechanical skills and are able to manage multiple responsibilities at once? Castle Pierce is in growth mode and is seeking an experienced offset press assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for feeding and helping operate an offset press. You will ensure that all printed material is in conformance to specifications, print is consistent, and all quality standards are met. You will be responsible for feeding sheet stock into the press, continuous monitoring, and adjusting ink throughout a run all while keeping a focus on speed to market.
