Job summary

Castle Pierce in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a Poucher Operator to set up and run a poucher machine, monitor quality, and maintain efficiency in a safety-forward, family-oriented environment.

You will work a 3-12 hour night schedule within a growing packaging company that values quality and continuous improvement. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bending, twisting, lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Poucher to meet customer specifications.
• Heat seal strength on all sides per documented standards.
• Verify seal bar meets carbon paper pressure test.
• Set up jobs according to write-up notes.
• Ensure k-seals and vertical seals at the gusset inside fold.
• Run material through tank tests with various changes.
• Ensure correct zipper and seal strength.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring, and operating a poucher machine. You will run printed material into themachine while continuously monitoring thequality of pre-pouched and finished products while ensuring top-run efficiency. With a focus on speed to market and family culture our employees can work in a friendly environment that is dedicated to safety and growth.Schedule: 3-12-hour shifts nights (NO SWING SHIFTS)

responsibilities

• Set up and operate Poucher to meet specifications of output expected per customer request.
• Heat seal Strength of all sides matching required documented seal strength
• Check to be sure seal bar meets carbon paper pressure test
• Job set up according to job write up notes
• K-seals meet Vertical seals at the inside fold of the gusset
• Passes tank test requirement: Many changes with different material
• Correct zipper and seal strength
