Job summary

Innovairre Communications is seeking an experienced press operator to manage offset presses from setup through production. You will monitor ink/water balance, color matching, and quality checks to ensure on-spec output. The role requires 3+ years on offset presses, strong mechanics, and the ability to work with both digital and analog equipment.

The position is onsite with full safety practices and potential for shift handoffs and collaborative teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years operating offset presses with strong grasp of lithography and color management.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read job instructions accurately.
• Comfort with both computer interfaces and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of predictive and productive maintenance approaches.

Responsibilities

• Full setup, operation, and care of the offset press to meet quality and schedule targets.
• Plate, blanket, and cylinder changes; ink fountain and unit cleaning as needed.
• Ink/water balance, color matching, and color set adjustments throughout the run.
• Continuous quality checks, defect detection, and corrective action.
• Machine adjustments to sustain throughput and minimize downtime.
• Routine recalibration and preventative productivity maintenance.
• Accurate tracking of counts, makereadies, and waste.
• Clear communication of job status at shift handoff and escalation of issues.
