Job summary

Plasticard Locktech International is seeking an experienced Pressman to operate offset printing presses using UV inks. The role requires setting up the press, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and keeping detailed job records.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years in offset printing, strong color judgment, and excellent communication skills. Safety, reliability, and the ability to work overtime are important for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offset printing operations and prep work.
• Experience with 40" Komori, Heidelberg, and ManRoland presses is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong color sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous materials.
• Must work well with others and independently.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up press and run offset printing with UV inks.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and maintain printing equipment.
• Keep records of work completed and job history.
• Ensure safety policies are followed.
• Prepare materials and inspect printing materials for conformance.
• Proof plates and ensure graphics are correct before production.
• Maintain ink levels and color balance during runs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist in other duties as assigned.
