Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, through its JLG subsidiary, is seeking an Offline Technician. This role inspects, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment at the facility before shipment, resolving issues with minimal supervision.

The technician will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems, read blueprints and schematics, and use specialized tools (EQC, MDS, JED, AS400) to ensure proper configuration. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to drive, test, and conduct offline inspection on all machines in the facility.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Perform test and inspection processes for facility Access equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Utilize specialty tools as required.
• Assist in driving back defects to origin and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure EQC process and configuration validation prior to shipment.
• Maintain safety and 6S standards in the work area.
