Montgomery County Detective Bureau is seeking an Office Support Staff member to provide essential administrative support across the bureau and its staff. The role includes answering phones, typing, drafting documents, calendar management, and records handling to ensure smooth operations.
Daily duties involve assisting detectives with criminal files for court, managing archives, and maintaining training and fleet records, while interacting professionally with the public and other agencies.
This employee is responsible for various clerical and administrative tasks to support the organizational needs of the Montgomery County Detective Bureau and its professional staff to ensure efficient operation of the office. Specific job duties will vary based on the Bureau’s current assignment(s). Generally, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: answering phones, typing, drafting documents and correspondence, maintaining appointment calendars, maintaining internal office records, processing paperwork, and other tasks as assigned by the Chief Clerk, Deputy Chief or Chief of Detectives. Office Support Staff will regularly interact with other employees of the District Attorney’s Office, other county agencies and members of the public. They are expected to be cordial and professional at all times.
