Kansas State University is seeking a departmental recordkeeping and accounting specialist for TRIO Educational Supportive Services. This on-site role supports a federally funded program serving first-generation, low-income students and students with disabilities, processing extensive participant records and reports.
The position requires strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with KSIS, Navigate, and Concur.
This position serves as the departmental recordkeeping and accounting specialist for the Director and staff of TRIO Educational Supportive Services which is a federal and state funded program that provides tutoring, academic, career, and financial services for first generation, low income, and students with a documented disability.
Federal regulations require that extensive records be maintained on all accepted student participants
Since 1972, TRIO ESS has focused on student success by providing comprehensive support for students that are 1st generation, income limited, and/or have a documented disability. TRIO ESS accepts 300 students each year, offering 1-1 services that help participants maintain a good GPA, persist year-to-year, and graduate on time.
This position is On-site. 5 days per week
