Office Services and Facilities Manager page is loaded
This position will be located at our office location in Nashville, TN and is a fully on-site opportunity.
What You’ll Do
The Office Services and Facilities Manager is responsible for the safe and effective operation of facility management, security, and vendor/contractor relations. Additionally, the Office Services and Facilities Manager ensures that functional management and associate needs are met effectively, economically, and within corporate standards.
Maintain responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the building including performing/overseeing general repairs and preventative maintenance.
Maintain responsibility for operation of building electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and security systems.
Coordinate facilities services such as installation, inventory, and service for voice and data equipment, IT equipment, and PCs.
Train new employees on office equipment; perform workstation adjustments to ensure they are ergonomically correct, repair, remove and install furniture.
Screen, evaluate and address problems and employee complaints regarding the facility and route issues to Sentry Corporate as necessary.
Coordinate building related projects such as equipment replacement, furniture changes, and employee moves.
Develop and administer facility operating budget
What it Takes
Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of facility management and office technology experience
Ability to respond to after hour and weekend calls
Fundamental understanding of various telephone systems to connect the various media for telecommunications networks.
Strong hands on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
Ability to assume and carry out responsibilities without direct supervision, exercise initiative and judgment, and make decisions within the scope of authority
Strong planning, organization, and project management skills
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job; performing maintenance on equipment will require bending, stooping, and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
