Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for managing the office team members and overseeing the administrative functions of the office. The ideal candidate would have a strong attention to detail, knowledge of basic accounting principles, standard warehouse practices and enjoy working with people. The ability to be a team player and multi-task while being able to lead a team will be essential to the success of this role.

Office Administration Management (20%)

  • Manage the performance of the Accounts Receivable and Logistics Manager
  • Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence
  • Operate office equipment

Accounts Payable (60%)

  • Maintain financial or account records
  • Calculate and prepare checks for utilities, taxes, and other payments
  • Verify accuracy of financial or transactional data
  • Compile data or documentation to support transactions
  • Monitor organizational compliance with regulations
  • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records
  • File documents or records
  • Prepare and process payroll information

Human Resources (20%)

  • Process Semi-monthly payroll
  • Maintain employee files using HRIS and paper files
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans
  • Answer questions regarding eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skillsets:

  • AA in Accounting or Business Administration or 2+ years relevant job experience.
  • 2+ years leadership experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Quickbooks, Odoo or other accounting software program
  • High attention to detail and ability to use logic and reasoning
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, foreign exchange, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Ability to generate monthly basic accounting reports
  • Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and managing files and records
  • Ability to work effectively and communicate with others
  • Ability to communicate fluently in any Asian languages (Thai, Chinese, Japanese) will be a plus
  • Typical office environment, with access to warehouse
  • Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time
  • Must be able to lift up to 5 lbs
  • Business casual attire
