Job summary

Avita Health System's Oncology Department in Galion/Ontario/Bucyrus is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient flow and perform administrative and direct care tasks. This role helps ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout visits.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Oncology Department at our Galion/Ontario/Bucyrus locations.

Position Overview

Performs a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. Responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performing required procedures and tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred

• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.
