Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Oncology Department across Galion, Ontario, and Bucyrus locations. The role includes administrative and direct patient care to promote comfort and smooth patient flow throughout visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Preferred: Certification/Registration as MA, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.

• Manages patient flow during visitation and supports required procedures as directed.

Position Overview

Performs a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. Responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performing required procedures and tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred

• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.
