ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client was established in 1977 to assist employers with the implementation and operation of Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit and other employee benefit plans. They have evolved into one of the largest employee benefit firms in Southwestern Ohio.
Their staff of more than 50 professionals support a client base of over 475 companies. Our client serves clients nationally, as well as regionally in our primary market of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana from our administration center and headquarters located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Office Manager is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of office operations while playing a key role in fostering positive, well-organized, and engaging employee experience. The role takes ownership of office standards, employee engagement initiatives, company events, and operational efficiency
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Administrative Operations
- Oversee overall office operations and serve as point of contact for general office-related issues
- Ensure a professional and welcoming working environment
- Manage office inventories, order supplies, and maintain relationships with vendors
Building & Facility
- Monitor company building and property, identify maintenance issues, make suggestions for improvements, and serve as liaison for maintenance providers and vendors
- Serve as point of contact with contractors for internal or external improvement projects
- Stay current on building and property compliance standards and codes to ensure a compliant and safe workplace
Employee Engagement & Events
- Lead the planning and coordination of all company activities and events, such as company and team meetings, company outings, lunches, parties, etc.
- Communicate pertinent office information to company staff, such as company announcements, upcoming events, office closures, etc.
- Create content for and produce monthly employee newsletter
Other Administrative Duties
- Serve as primary backup for front desk coverage when needed
- Assist HR in coordination of onboarding process for new employees
- Work with insurance broker to manage annual renewals of corporate insurance policies
- Manage company Cincinnati Reds season tickets allocation to internal and external personnel
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Demonstrated experience managing tasks within a professional office environment in an Office Administrator, Office Manager, or similar role with expanded responsibility
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact well with internal associates and external clients and vendors
- Proactive leader with a positive and professional disposition
- Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Open-minded and willing to take on new tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work full-time onsite, Monday-Friday
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

- Compensation: $55-60k with bonus opportunity
