Job summary

Fluor in Honolulu is seeking an experienced Construction Office Manager III to support a medium-size project with administrative, accounting and HR functions. You will oversee office operations, timekeeping, payroll, and related administration to ensure timely, accurate processing and compliance.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly with diverse stakeholders, pays close attention to detail, and can learn and apply applicable laws, policies and guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work‑related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non‑degreed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner.

  • Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Standard work week is 40 hours, with the potential for up to 60 hours per week in a fast‑paced environment.

Overview

Typically provides administrative, accounting, human resource, and other support to the project for all departments and personnel. This position is usually assigned to a medium‑size project or assists on larger projects. The role may be referred to as Construction Office Manager III.

Other Job Requirements
  • Receive field material and prepare receiving reports.
  • Process and verify all I‑9's on site.
  • Potentially process payrolls for other smaller sites.
