Position Summary
The Office Manager for the Mary Inez Grindle School of Nursing (MIGSON) coordinates all office administration operations and provides support for the Director, Faculty, and Students of the MIGSON.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years as an Office Manager preferred
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Access)
- Excellent management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including telephone etiquette
- Timely completion of tasks is fundamental
- Maintenance of confidentiality is essential
- Maintains a professional appearance
Responsibilities
- Establishes office structure and organization
- Schedules appointments for the Director of MIGSON
- Coordinates nursing events: White Coat, Orientation, Pinning Ceremonies, and Registration
- Assists with management of Account Payables for MIGSON
- Coordinates orientation and welcome packets for new students
- Manages clinical requirements in ACEMAPP for incoming nursing students
- Coordinates and manages faculty clinical records in ACEMAPP
- Distributes alumni surveys annually using Formstack
- Coordinates, manages, schedules, and orders HESI Admission Tests
- Proctors HESI Admission Tests and make-up tests
- Reserves rooms on the North Atlanta Campus for classes and events
- Coordinates catering for MIGSON events
- Coordinates travel for Director and Faculty
- Manages advisor/advisee lists
- Records and distributes minutes for faculty meetings
- Manages onboarding for North Atlanta Campus nursing cohorts
- Addresses inquiries related to admissions for pre-nursing students
- Coordinates mail delivery with main campus
- Assists in onboarding new hires
- Supervises work-study students
- Performs other duties to support organizational goals
Additional Information
- Work hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, generally Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with possible extension
- Location: North Atlanta Campus, on-ground position
- Environmental conditions: Sedentary office work, ability to operate office equipment, occasional travel
