Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Bucyrus location in Dennison Family Medicine. The LPN will assess, plan, and implement nursing care in the physician clinic under physician supervision, while participating in patient and family teaching and coordinating clinic operations.

Required: Ohio LPN licensure and current BLS certification. Preferred: 2+ years in a physician office.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic under physician supervision.
• Participates in patient and family teaching; coordinates patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA). Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission. Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.

• Current BLS certification.

Preferred:
