Atlas is seeking an experienced Office Engineer to support the Curbside Improvement Program. The role provides wide-ranging technical and administrative duties, including submittal management and RFI oversight, supporting project management activities in a fast-paced airport environment.
Ideal candidates bring strong design-construction lifecycle knowledge, proven communication skills, and experience with PM Web and related tools. This is a salaried, full-time position based on 40 hours/week.

The CTA Curbside Improvement Program reports to CTA Curbside Improvement Project Manager and is responsible for assisting the CTA Curbside Improvement Project Manager with managing the scope schedule and operational interfaces of all design and construction related activities for the CTA Curbside Improvement Program. The CTA Curbside Improvement Program focuses on the Arrivals curbside area around the entire CTA from entry doors of the terminals out to the outer island pick up zone. The scope of the project encompasses a comprehensive range of improvements from curbside out to the garage facades and the landscape zones in between. It is intended to enhance the look and feel of LAX and reflect a modern safe and iconic vision of our airport. These combined efforts aim to elevate the overall passenger and visitor experience while adhering to stringent safety security and sustainability standards.
The CTA Curbside Improvement Program Office Engineer provides a broad spectrum of technical and administrative duties primarily associated with submittal and Request for Information (RFI) management as well as construction management support. Supports the project management team project manager assistant PM construction manager design manager etc.
TechnicalConstruction background with experience in an opera ngac ve environmentKnowledge in design and construction contracting practices and methodologiesKnowledge and experience in the project design life cycle from Concept to Project Definition Book to Permit to BulletinsKnowledge and experience in the project construction life cycle from pre construction to esmatingbuyout to phasing to implementation to CloseoutMaintaining an excellent working relationship with the design and construction professionals geared towards open communications and mutual problem solving in the best interest of the project and all other par es involvedContributing to a high level of team morale through professionalism that reflects well on the project team external stakeholders and LAWAinternal stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and BluebeamAbility to work in PM Web preferred
Other Qualifications 5 years or more experience preferably on airport projectsExperience with projects more than 50 million in valueExperience with various delivery methods including Design Bid Build DesignCMAR and DesignBuildExcellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or other related field requiredOptional certifications may include AAAE LEED PE PMP AICP etc or any other relevant professional license or certifications
