Job summary

STV is seeking a CEI, Construction Engineering Office Engineer for our Transportation department based in our Hartford, CT office. The role involves reviewing contractor submissions, managing project documentation, coordinating material testing, and supporting field inspection teams to ensure CTDOT standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with CMIT Level 4 or NICET Level 2 and 2+ years in CE&I, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, CMIT Level 4 or NICET Level 2 with at least 2 years in CE&I.
• Familiarity with CE&I processes and contract documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-site.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior CTDOT CE&I experience
• Professional Engineer License
• OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training
• Working knowledge of Compass and AASHTOWare project (AWP)

Compensation Range:

$104,402.58 - $119,317.24
