Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Management or health-related field (or equivalent experience).
• Two to five years in a healthcare/hospital admitting environment recommended.
• Strong supervisory, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Flexible, self-motivated with ability to handle stressful situations.
• Computer experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admitting/registration operations in Main Admitting/Acute Hospital, Pavilion Admitting, or Emergency Department.
• Coordinate the integration of admitting services with Northwest Texas Healthcare System.
• Support Service Excellence culture and apply Service Excellence Standards to all customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Office Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Admitting/Registration process in one of the following areas: Main Admitting/Acute Hospital, Pavilion Admitting, or Emergency Department. Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functioning of the departments, but also the integration of these services into the overall functioning of Northwest Texas Healthcare System. The Office Coordinator supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required:

• Associate Degree in Management or health related field or equivalent experience.
• Two to five years of experience in a healthcare environment or hospital admitting department recommended.
• Good supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility, self-motivation and high tolerance for stressful situations preferred.
• Computer experience recommended.
