Knobelsdorff in Eagan, MN is seeking a detail‑oriented administrative assistant to join a growing team focused on delivering value to our clients and projects in automation, electrical, energy, and power services. The role starts May 2027 and offers hands‑on exposure to office operations, scheduling, and HR onboarding.

You will handle calls, mail, travel, meetings, visitor greetings, and support materials for job sites while collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Professional, friendly and upbeat presence.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with MS applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner. Screen, redirect, and take messages.
  • Help with phone coverage rotation from 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.
  • Greet and direct visitors appropriately while maintaining a welcoming and friendly environment.
  • Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Support with shipping out materials to job sites.
  • Assist with company luncheons and other company functions.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including scanning, printing, filing, etc.
  • Support HR staff with new hire orientation.
  • Provide administrative support aligned with evolving business priorities.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings and reservations as needed.
  • Arrange travel including hotels, transportation, and airfare.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

Pay Range

We believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in.

Pay Range: $20-22 per hour
