Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is seeking an Accounts Payable professional in Odessa, Texas. This role focuses on paying Scrap and Freight accounts, maintaining vendor details, and resolving payment issues with accuracy and efficiency.

You will collaborate across departments, ensure timely supplier payments, and support process improvements. Candidates should have 2+ years in accounts payable, strong Excel skills, and SAP/RECY experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and related financial software.

Responsibilities

• Pay Scrap and Freight accounts per approved payment terms.
• Maintain assigned account details.
• Analyze and resolve scale issues.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure accuracy of supplier payments.
• Participate in department improvements to increase efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with additional projects assigned by Accounting Manager.

Your Education
