Macomb County Government is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to perform routine clerical duties in the Office of Senior Services. You will handle records, forms, data entry, and correspondence, while providing friendly service to internal staff and the public.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, a valid Michigan driver's license, and dependable transportation. Proficiency with standard office software and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license for authorized travel.
  • Previous clerical work experience preferred.

  • Records or posts information in journals, files and/or other departmental records.

  • Enters information on records and forms; compiles and maintains departmental files.
  • Receives calls and emails; assists and relays messages to appropriate staff.
  • Operates standard office equipment such as PCs, fax machines, copiers, scanners and calculators.
  • Operates an automobile to perform assigned job functions (if applicable).
