Position Information:

We are hiring three enthusiastic Office Assistants to join the team at the Great New York State Fair.These year-round, CSEA-represented positions offer a competitive pay rate of $17.35/hour, with part-time hours (October-March) transitioning to full-time 37.5 hours/week (Monday-Friday, April-September) at the Syracuse Fairgrounds. You will provide crucial, professional administrative support to the State Fair’s Agriculture Team, including data entry, credentialing, and inventory management. These are temporary, CSEA-represented positions offering inexpensive health insurance options, free dental and vision coverage, and NYS Pension Plan membership.

As a New York State employee, you could potentially qualify to participate in theFederal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF)! The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your direct loans after you have made 120qualifying monthly payments under an accepted repayment plan and while working full-time for the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets or anothereligible employer.
