Pareto is seeking a part-time office operations coordinator to own the San Francisco office experience. You will ensure the space is welcoming and functional, manage the kitchen, deliveries, and supplies, and handle routine maintenance with a proactive mindset.
You’ll collaborate with the operations team, support team events, and serve as the go-to person for space-related requests. This role is ideal for someone seeking steady, flexible hours and long-term involvement in a hands-on environment.
Humanity is in a virtuous cycle: human insight improves AI, and better AI expands what people can do. Sustaining it depends on the one input that can't be automated: expert human judgment.
At Pareto, we build the platform that turns that judgment into the data, evals, and RL environments frontier models learn from. We work with leading frontier labs like Anthropic and GDM, and we give skilled people everywhere a way to shape the future of AI and share in what it creates.
This RL environment and human-data infrastructure is already in production. Our job now is to scale it.
The office runs well because someone owns it. That's this role. You'll own the physical experience of Pareto's San Francisco office: common areas, the kitchen, supplies, deliveries, and the small things that add up fast when nobody is watching them. You'll work alongside the operations team and, in practice, with everyone who walks through the door.
Good looks like a space nobody has to think about. The kitchen is stocked before anyone notices it's low, the broken chair is gone before someone reports it, and the coffee is ready before the first person arrives. You won't be managing a team or an office budget. You'll be the person who owns whether the space works, and within a few months, the person people go to when something needs handling.
$30 per hour. The role runs a minimum of 10 hours a week across at least 3 days, flexible within those hours, and the 10-hour minimum is firm.
The team here builds the data and RL infrastructure that trains models at Anthropic and GDM. That work happens in this office, and it goes better when the space does. This is part-time work that's flexible, consistent, and visibly useful.
