Position: Office Administrator I

Description:

The Office Administrator will be responsible for providing support with general administrative work for other departments as needed. This may include printing, copying, faxing, filing, data entry, emailing, task prioritizing, assisting with projects, and proactively supporting team needs.

Fundamental Requirements:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Welcomes on-site visitors
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes daily mail and deliveries
  • Orders office and shop supplies
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent legal resident
  • Regular attendance at the worksite
  • Ability to recognize and solve typical problems in own work area, evaluate, and select solutions from established options
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong work ethic: honesty, punctuality, integrity
  • Detail-oriented
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy work area
  • Positive, responsible, and professional work character
  • Some basic accounting entries

Technical Skills:

  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Maintain a meticulous work environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • QuickBooks experience preferred

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support special projects, track action items and deliverables
  • Perform clerical work such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
  • Manage incoming packages and notify recipients
  • Perform clerical duties across all departments
  • Assist office staff with daily operations
  • Direct visitors to appropriate departments or personnel
  • Coordinate employee support activities (timesheet administration, training, supplies, equipment)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records
  • Handle confidential records and reports
  • Schedule appointments and arrange travel
  • Conduct meetings or presentations as needed

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of administrative experience preferred
  • 1 year of aerospace industry experience preferred
