Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer queries by phone and email; take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot customer inquiries and coordinate with engineering as needed.
  • Track technical inquiries/issues in the service database with the team.
  • Process orders using ERP systems and provide order documentation.
  • Share shipment details, ship dates, tracking, and invoices with customers.
  • Coordinate with shipping to track or adjust shipments.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks and ensure policy adherence.

Summary of Responsibility:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Office Administrator will work closely with various team members to help provide the best customer service to our customers. The Office Admin works collaboratively with all departments to ensure every customer receives professional, responsive and personalized attention. This position provides an opportunity in a high growth business in manufacturing with potential for advancement. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to successfully operate in a team setting.

What You Will Contribute:
  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner via phone and email and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to resolve any problems or concerns.
  • Ability to troubleshoot customer inquiries
  • Work with engineering team to track technical inquiries/issues in our service database.
  • Process orders using our ERP systems
  • Provide customers with documentation pertaining to their order including sending an order acknowledgement with ship date, shipment tracking, and an invoice.
  • Work with our shipping department to track, expedite or delay shipments.
  • Perform miscellaneous organizational and administrative tasks as required
  • Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes

Mental and Physical Requirements:
  • Must be highly mobile, able to access all areas of the premises.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while servicing equipment.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including accessing equipment interiors and elevated areas.
  • Strong hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills required for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
