Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and assists the Athletic Director in the selection, assignment, and evaluation of athletic coaches and staff.
• Fosters good school-community relations by keeping the community aware of and responsive to the athletic program.
• Responsible for the health and safety of student athletes; ensures proper safety and first aid procedures are followed.
• Conducts parent meetings prior to the beginning of the season; promotes and maintains positive relationships with parents and student athletes.
• Ensures program compliance with school, District, and league rules; communicates policies to team members.
