Job summary

Barker Management Inc. in California seeks a Resident Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations for an assigned development and to enforce lease terms while maintaining safety and security for residents.

You will supervise Assistant Manager, Leasing Agent, Janitor and Maintenance staff, coordinate with the Regional Manager, manage occupancy, inspections, and reporting, and ensure timely completion of duties with a professional, courteous approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of office and clerical experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good computer skills using MS Word and MS Excel.
• Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working at a property with 50+ units is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage site operations for assigned development.
• Supervise Assistant Manager, Leasing Agent, Janitor and Maintenance staff.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with leases.
• Coordinate with Regional Manager and asset manager.
• Handle administrative duties and reporting.
