Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate activities of hourly machine operators and assemblers in manufacturing heavy-duty engine components.
• Observe work and monitor gauges, quality, standard time and other indicators to ensure conformance to production standards.
• Identify and reduce non-value-added work and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality standards.
• Keep management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems.
