Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an Off-shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead 2nd and 3rd shift manufacturing operations.

You will supervise Assembly personnel and partner with department supervisors to maintain effective communication and continuity with 1st shift leadership. The role requires a flexible schedule to cover shifts, leading safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S practices to sustain an organized workplace.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees across multiple functions and shifts.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety practices, production processes, and employee performance management.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a flexible schedule with leadership presence across 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Provide direct leadership and supervision for 2nd and 3rd shift Assembly personnel.
• Coordinate production priorities with cross-functional manufacturing leaders.
• Conduct routine floor presence and employee check-ins.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate direct reports.
• Monitor production performance, staffing levels, quality metrics, downtime and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment practices.
