Job summary

Welch's is seeking an Off-Shift Maintenance Supervisor for our 24/7 North East, PA facility. You will lead a maintenance crew, partner with production, and ensure equipment safety and reliability to meet demanding production needs.

Qualifications

At least four years of experience supervising equipment maintenance and repair in a manufacturing environment.
Troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems including PLCs, motors, motion controls, pneumatics, hydraulics.
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Ability to organize competing priorities and communicate clearly with mechanics, operators and supervisors.
Experience training and coaching maintenance employees.
Ability to work safely around highly automated machinery in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop your crew with daily priorities, assign work and coach mechanics.
Maintain production by troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating repairs to maximize uptime.
Oversee maintenance of production and processing equipment, systems and seasonal gear.
Coordinate maintenance for refrigeration, boilers, wastewater, buildings, and facilities.
Evaluate equipment performance and maintenance practices to improve safety and reliability.
Prepare for seasonal operations and ensure readiness for production changes.
