Job summary

Welch's is seeking a Packaging Supervisor for a 10pm–7am shift at our North East, PA facility. The role covers safety, quality, production efficiency and cost standards, providing leadership, planning and resources to foster a high-performance manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or Engineering and 2–5 years in manufacturing (Food & Beverage preferred), with the ability to cover weekend rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years manufacturing experience; Food & Beverage Manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work third shift.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure safety and quality by reviewing production areas, HACCP, GMPs, Time and Attendance, SOPs.
• Supervise production personnel to achieve packaging objectives and drive employee engagement.
• Provide planning and direction, assign responsibilities, coordinate work, remove obstacles, monitor performance.
• Lead cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
