Position Summary

We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor | Off Shift to provide leadership to ensure effective maintenance service for all plant production and processing equipment to meet production requirements.

Where You'll Work

This role will be based out of our 24/7 manufacturing facility in North East, PA.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for maintenance of production and processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, and seasonal preparation.
• Demonstrates expertise with the maintenance requirement of plant processing, production and seasonal operations through a thorough and continuing evaluation of production, processing and seasonal requirements, techniques, procedures, facilities and equipment.
• Maintains constant contact with production and processing supervision to obtain maximum machine uptime.
• Train mechanics in the proper set‑up, adjustment, and maintenance of production, processing and seasonal support equipment and supervise them to accomplish maintenance requirements.
• Establishes daily objectives for crew and daily evaluates the extent to which these objectives are being met. Periodically reviews the performance of each maintenance person under supervision and conducts personal interviews to review and improve performance.

Who You Are

• Demonstrated ability to safely work on and around complex, highly automated machinery in a non‑temperature regulated environment. Strong troubleshooting, verbal and written communication skills to effectively present to other maintenance supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Cross‑functional demonstrated skills in Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, motion control, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in food manufacturing strongly preferred; Lean and Six Sigma a plus.

• The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full‑time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
