Job summary
Polaris Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with second and third shift manufacturing leaders in Huntsville, AL.
You will supervise off-shift HR staff and drive employee relations, staffing, and leadership development to support a large onsite production environment. Responsibilities include investigations, performance management, workforce planning, and ensuring policy compliance while aligning with business objectives and labor laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years progressive HR experience in manufacturing or operations.
- Experience coaching leaders, investigations, and policy interpretation.
- Strong business acumen with data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary HR business partner for second and third shift operations.
- Lead HR programs: employee relations, performance mgmt, investigations.
- Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations and talent issues.
- Oversee HR Generalists and partner on workforce planning and staffing.
- Drive performance reviews, succession planning, and development.
- Ensure legal compliance and alignment with policies and labor practices.
- Monitor workforce metrics and drive corrective actions when needed.
