Job summary

Advance CNC Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for off-shift roles. 2nd shift: Mon–Thu 4:00 PM–2:30 AM and Weekend shift: Fri–Sun 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with up to $35/hour DOE and a $5,000 sign-on bonus ($2,500 at 90 days and $2,500 at 6 months).

You’ll interpret drawings, operate Makino 4-5 axis mills, load materials, set tools and offsets, and inspect with calipers, micrometers, and CMM. We serve nationwide customers in food, pharma, aerospace, and defense with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T data.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Experience operating 4-5 axis Makino machines is a strong plus.
• Self-driven, accountable, and able to follow a process.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and blueprints to understand part geometry and tolerances.
• Operate Makino 4-5 axis CNC milling centers, with automation as needed.
• Load materials, secure parts, change tools, and set offsets.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and CMM; review CMM reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
