True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the 2nd and 3rd shifts in Elizabethtown, KY. The role oversees multiple lines in a Tier 1 automotive facility, guiding teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

The ideal candidate has automotive manufacturing background and experience managing high-volume operations, with 2nd/3rd shift availability and a focus on continuous improvement. Salary is $65,000–$75,000 with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have prior production supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, especially Tier 1.
• Experience managing multiple production lines in high-volume facilities.
• Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components desirable.
• Experience in a union environment is a plus.
• Leadership skills to motivate and coach teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot production challenges in fast-paced settings.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working second or third shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines during second or third shift.
• Lead, train, and develop employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor production schedules, staffing levels, and equipment performance to meet demand.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Work closely with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Monitor production metrics, including efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Support continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, productivity.
• Communicate production updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
