Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions is seeking an experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisor for a Tier 1 automotive stamping facility in Elizabethtown, KY. Lead multiple lines on 2nd and 3rd shifts, driving safety, quality, and productivity while mentoring teams to meet customer demands.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, a proven record supervising high-volume manufacturing, and the ability to troubleshoot production challenges quickly.

Qualifications

• Previous production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred, particularly within a Tier 1 supplier.
• Experience managing multiple production lines in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working in a union manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold employees accountable.
• Understanding of production scheduling, manufacturing KPIs, and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot production challenges and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable working second or third shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor metrics like efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.

Position Overview

Horan Hiring Solutions is seeking experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisors for a well-established Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

This facility specializes in heavy metal stamping and the production of structural components and frames for Ford trucks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, experience overseeing multiple production lines, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple manufacturing lines during second or third shift.
