Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks an OFCI Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Owner-provided equipment in mission-critical construction environments. You will coordinate logistics, technical vetting, and commissioning across onsite MEP teams and vendor partners, ensuring on-time, on-spec integration.

The role emphasizes hands-on site work, strong collaboration with procurement, and leadership through Level 3 and Level 4 testing, with safety and efficiency at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 5–8 years in mission-critical construction.
• PMP or LEED AP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Logistics Tracking: Maintain the Master Equipment Log and coordinate Just-In-Time delivery to avoid site congestion.
• Technical Vetting: Review submittals and shop drawings to ensure equipment footprints, weights, and connection points match coordination drawings.
• QA/QC & Receiving: Lead in-process inspections, perform damage assessments, and verify manuals and spare parts are present on delivery.
• Vendor Management: Serve as the onsite point of contact for vendor technicians during installation and startup phases.
• Schedule Integration: Work with the Project Scheduler to align equipment lead times and commissioning windows with the construction schedule.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify gap items not provided by Owner or Subcontractor and plan for mounting hardware or oils/coolants.
• VDC/BIM Integration: Participate in meetings to ensure equipment matches the site’s phased builds.
• Custom Skids & Containerized Solutions: Manage receipt of modular units requiring precision rigging and grounding.
• Proprietary Asset Tracking: Use asset tools to track serial numbers from factory to data hall floor.
• Cx Leadership: Drive Level 3 and Level 4 testing, ensuring equipment communicates with monitoring systems.
• Warranty & Spares Lifecycle: Oversee hand-off of Capital Spares to Operations post-handover.
