Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced employment attorney in Raleigh to lead high-impact labor and employment matters for a nationally respected practice. You will manage litigation from strategy through resolution, draft key documents, and advise employers on compliance and risk in a collaborative team culture.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, an active NC license, 8+ years of employment law or civil litigation, and has demonstrated success managing discovery, depositions, and motion practice

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active North Carolina law license in good standing.
• 8+ years of employment law and/or significant civil litigation experience.
• Experience managing litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Experience drafting substantive legal documents and employment-related agreements.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters from initial strategy through resolution, including motion practice, hearings, negotiations, and settlements.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, position statements, employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and other employment-related documents.
• Handle discovery, depositions, investigations, witness preparation, and e-discovery matters.
• Advise employers on workplace compliance, risk management, employee relations issues, and other labor and employment law matters.
• Serve as a primary point of contact with employers, government agencies, courts, and opposing counsel.
