Job summary

LeoForce in Charlotte, NC seeks an Application Engineer specializing in thermal management to support OEM customers from initial discussions through proposal, validation, and production. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Operations to tailor solutions that meet technical and commercial needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Application/Systems/Technical Sales).
• Experience supporting OEM/industrial/data center or power customers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate requirements into engineered solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; travel 20–40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with OEM/industrial customers.
• Gather requirements and define application specs.
• Size components based on performance needs.
• Develop system-level recommendations.
• Support quotations, proposals, and docs.
• Participate in DFMEA, validation, testing.
• Troubleshoot issues throughout projects.
• Deliver presentations, demos, and training.
• Coordinate multiple projects across teams.
• Maintain technical records and docs.
• Travel to customer sites 20–40%.
