OEM Business Development Manager - Pumps (Data Centers)

Position Overview

This role reports to the OEM Sales Director - Pumps and is primarily remote, contributing to the Motion Drive Products division in New Berlin, WI. You will be responsible for developing and managing OEM relationships in the pump applications sector, specifically liquid cooling in data centers. Your activities will include strategic account planning, market penetration, and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop solution sales activities and demand generation for Low Voltage Drives and PLC at key OEM accounts.
  • Maintain OEM pursuit and account reports.
  • Drive sales strategies using SFDC.
  • Achieve sales targets and develop the account pipeline.
  • Collaborate with application engineers, other divisions, and global teams.
  • Negotiate contracts ensuring favorable terms.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Support product management and marketing with value propositions.
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide input on product pipeline based on customer needs.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or higher in engineering, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in sales/business development with variable speed drives, motors, automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of Data Center OEMs and G2M strategies.
  • Strong customer interface experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SFDC.
  • Proven sales success in competitive markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Must have valid work authorization for the US; no sponsorship available.
