This position reports to

OEM Sales Director - Pumps

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing new OEMs in the pump applications area, specifically for liquid cooling in data centers. This involves strategic and tactical activities, including formulating and executing account strategies to foster profitable growth and increase penetration in the pumps market. The work model is remote. #LI-Remote. The role contributes to the Motion Drive Products division in New Berlin, WI. Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Developing solution sales activities and demand for Low Voltage Drives and PLCs at key OEM accounts within the specific application area.
  2. Maintaining regular OEM pursuit reports and account summaries for assigned OEMs.
  3. Driving sales activities and account plans through SFDC.
  4. Meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing the pipeline in the assigned OEMs.
  5. Collaborating with application engineers and other divisions to develop sales opportunities.
  6. Coordinating with global teams and LSUs to align activities with target OEMs.
  7. Negotiating and making offers in line with company procedures.
  8. Staying informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  9. Supporting product management and marketing with value propositions.
  10. Ensuring compliance with safety and work regulations.
  11. Providing input for current and future product pipelines based on customer needs.
  12. Negotiating contracts with OEMs, ensuring favorable terms while protecting organizational interests, in collaboration with operations, legal, and finance teams.
Qualifications for the role
  • Associates degree or higher, preferably in engineering, business administration, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales or business development experience with variable speed drives, motors, and automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of Data Center OEMs and their G2M strategies.
  • Experience in customer interface and understanding customer needs.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and SFDC.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to close high-value deals.
  • Strategic thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, with international travel being rare.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
  • Must have existing work authorization in the US; we cannot sponsor visas at this time.
