A CNC ID/OD Grinder will be expected to set up and operate precision grinding machines to shape and finish the internal and external surfaces of parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications. They ensure accuracy by maintaining tight tolerances, performing inspections, and following safety and quality procedures.

CNC ID/OD Grinder – 1st & 2nd Shift Openings

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate grinding machines to meet blueprint specifications.
• Complete required production paperwork and inspection procedures.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain tools, gauges, and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and work areas.

Advanced Requirements:

• ID/OD Machining experience is required
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and instructions for product specifications like finishes, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Demonstrate knowledge of precision grinding techniques.
• Experience working in tight tolerances (+/- .0002) is a plus.
