Pay Rate: $17 – $19/hour (Based on experience and qualifications)

About the Company
Link Staffing is proudly partnering with a specialized industrial services provider serving the oil, petrochemical, marine, hydraulic, and manufacturing industries. Their core services include electroplated hard chrome, sulfonate nickel coatings, HVOF, Plasma and Electric Wire Arc thermal spray, cylindrical grinding & honing, phosphate coating, and media blasting.
Position Summary
We’re seeking skilled Precision Grinder to join a growing team focused on precision reconditioning of industrial components. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and enjoy working with heavy machinery, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Operate OD or ID grinding machines with precision
Use hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy
Read and interpret micrometers and technical drawings
Perform basic liquid penetrant examinations as required
Maintain accurate documentation and work order traveler entries
Communicate part deviations to Quality Inspector or Supervisor
Operate jib and overhead cranes safely
Perform routine maintenance on grind machines
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Qualifications
Required:
Ability to read and understand English (work orders and technical drawings)
Experience with micrometers and grinding tools
Familiarity with industrial safety and quality procedures
For Experienced Operators:
Minimum of 1 year of OD/ID grinding experience
For Trainees:
High School diploma or GED
Will undergo at least 4 weeks of hands-on training with an in-house instructor
Trainees must demonstrate readiness for independent operation before advancing
Note: Trainees will have the opportunity to purchase personal hand tools through a payroll deduction program until fully paid.
